WATER-RESISTANT JEWELLERY FAQS

Made for real life. Our water-resistant jewellery is designed to withstand everyday exposure to water and sweat, from splashes and handwashing to getting caught in the rain. So you can wear your favourite pieces with confidence.

Selected Abbott Lyon stainless steel pieces are water and sweat resistant, meaning they’re designed to withstand everyday exposure to water and sweat. Think splashes, washing your hands, working out or getting caught in the rain. Here is a link to our Water Resistant Jewellery page here

Water resistant means your jewellery can handle those little everyday moments where it comes into contact with water.

While selected pieces are water resistant, we recommend removing your jewellery before showering to help keep it looking its best for longer.

We recommend removing your jewellery before swimming. Water resistance is designed for everyday exposure such as splashes, handwashing, sweat and rain, rather than prolonged submersion or exposure to swimming pools and the sea.

Selected stainless steel pieces are water and sweat resistant, so they’re designed to withstand everyday exposure to sweat. As always, giving your jewellery a little care after wear will help keep it looking its best.

Head to the Need to Know section on the individual product page. You’ll find more information about what your piece is made from and whether it’s water and sweat resistant.

Even water-resistant jewellery deserves a little love. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and harsh chemicals, and gently clean and dry your pieces when needed. When you’re not wearing them, store them somewhere clean and dry to help keep them looking their best.
