Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s venetian wedding brought together more high jewellery than has probably ever been in one place - an incredible display of some of the finest jewellery the world has to offer.
There’s a lot to unpack when it comes to some the jewellery we saw, and we’re here to put a few of our favourite ensembles under the loupe. We’ll investigate what people were wearing, who wore it best, and the true cost of wearing your weight in diamonds.

1. Lauren Sánchez
As you’d probably expect, it was none other than Lauren Sánchez herself who stole the show at her wedding. The now Mrs. Bezos looked dazzling in some of the most glamourous wedding jewellery we’ve ever seen.
Let’s start with *that* ring. Thought to weigh around 35-40 carats, the flawless D-colour diamond (set in platinum, in case you were wondering) caused quite the stir, particularly as it superseded her pre-engagement ring (yes, you read that right) - a rose-tinged pink diamond cushion cut ring, worth an estimated £3 million.
But, it was her earrings that really stole the show; a pair of Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria ‘Miracolo’ earrings featuring 4 magnificent pear-cut diamonds, cut from a single stone and together weighing about 42 carats in total. Of course, she had to pair those with a drop-style pear-cut diamond necklace of truly epic proportions.
Total estimated weight: 122 carats
Total estimated cost: £22.3 million (over half of the cost of the actual wedding)

2. Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashion went all out for this one, wearing two incredible Moussaieff diamond necklaces. One featuring an outrageously large 50 carat pear-shaped yellow-brown diamond pendant, the other with a strand of smaller (yet still gigantic) white diamonds. Together, these two pieces are thought to have a combined weight of about 150 carats.
Total estimated weight: 150 carats
Total estimated cost: £12.7 million (this would get you 60 trips to space on one of Bezos’ Blue Origin space crafts)
3. Vittoria Ceretti
Italian supermodel and fashion phenomenon, Vittoria Ceretti, kept things understated with her Messika look. While lighter in appearance (and price-tag) than some of her fellow guests, hers was one of our favourite looks from the entire event, showing you that size doesn’t always matter when it comes to jewellery. That being said, this look still cost a pretty penny.
Total estimated weight: 19 carats
Total estimated cost: £0.17 million (more than the cost of a Rolls-Royce Ghost)
4. Khloe Kardashian & Kendal Jenner
Kim wasn’t the only Kardashian who decided to show out for the Bezos-Sanchez wedding—Khloe & Kendal also came ready to play. For those of us who have been following Khloe’s jewellery style for a while, you’d be unsurprised to see that she came dripping in Lorraine Schwartz.
Schwartz’s designs have long been a favourite of the Kardashian family when it comes to their high-jewellery choices, and this particular occasion was no exception; Kendal was also seen wearing a breathtaking 250 carat emerald ensemble made by Schwartz.
Total estimated weight: 390 carats
Total estimated cost: £9 million (with which you could buy not one, but two private jets)

5. Karlie Kloss
Karlie Kloss kept it classy with a vintage necklace-earring ensemble from New York based designer Briony Raymond. Featuring a cluster of European and brilliant-cut natural diamonds in a platinum setting, the model clearly spared no expense for the wedding of the century. This look is estimated to come in at around £412,000.
Total estimated weight: 7 carats
Total estimated cost: £0.41 million (enough for a 3-bed house in Yorkshire)
6. Sydney Sweeney
Sydney Sweeney’s look at the Bezos–Sánchez wedding was a masterclass in contemporary jewellery minimalism. Like Vittoria Ceretti, she wore an immaculate Messika necklace comprised of white diamonds with a centre pear-shaped diamond drop.
Total estimated weight: 20 carats
Total estimated cost: £0.49 million (almost enough to book Beyoncé for a private performance)
