A passionate, creative, unapologetic workaholic, that pretty much sums me up. Me being Rochelle, the girl behind the blog Just Another Mannequin.
Fashion marketing manager by weekday & personal style blogger by weekend (+ any other spare minute I can squeeze out of the week!), it’s safe to say that for me, styling hella good outfits is all consuming, and that’s exactly how I like it! My style is dictated by who I want to be. Every morning I play dress up, projecting a new version of myself out into the world! I’m actually quite shy and reserved, but fashion is my voice and it is my loudest conversation.
When I saw the Mella watch, I instantly wanted to add it to my style vocabulary. I’m obsessed with how it makes a statement but can still be paired with every single thing in my wardrobe. It’s minimal design and monotone look keep it on-trend but the textured face gives it a subtle fierceness like nothing I’ve seen before.
Anyone who knows me knows I can’t resist anything rose gold, so this would have to be my pick of the three, especially as an occasional piece. The silver however, would be my go-to accessory for casual looks that need an extra oomph.
Here I’ve styled the rose gold with a flirty, floral maxi for date night! Usually I’d play such a bold print safe, but the Mella is just enough of a statement that I can get away with it. The pink accents in the dress compliment the rose gold perfectly and I’ve finished the look with a minimal black belt that has a touch of hardware to tie everything together.
My day look is more effortless and seemingly thrown together! By pairing a suede two piece set with my all time favourite denim jacket. I’ve kept a light, neutral palette and playfully mixed textures. Throw the silver Mella in there and it’s the perfect off-duty combo!
It’s hard to think of an outfit the two of these won’t add a subtle statement to, so I’ve got them both on standby for when I need to say a little something more, without saying too much.
